INDIA – Hold high the 20th anniversary of the PLGA!

Hold high the 20th anniversary of the foundation of the PLGA! Support the year of actions!

The People’s Liberation Guerilla Army (PLGA), under leadership of the Communist Party of India (Maoist), leader of the People’s War in India, has announced to observe their 20th year of formation as ‘year-long action’, starting from December 2nd.

In the 50 years of People’s War, the foundation of the PLGA has been described as a great leap in the struggle against imperialism, feudalism and bureaucratic capitalism. Therefore this years celebration will not be confined to one week, as usual, to commemorate the Martyrs of the PLGA. The celebrations will be held as a “year long action” until the 1st of December, 2021, with a “resolve to regain their footing and armed strength”, as the reactionary media reports. From the reports of the past time, however, it is rather clear: to expand and deepen the strength and influence of the PLGA!

Ahead of the PLGA anniversary, the CMC has released a comprehensive report with figures on the PLGA's guerrilla actions to recount their achievements ever since its inception in the year 2000 and the future plan. Already despised by the reaction, this report is the expression of the application of Marxism-Leninism-Maoism in India, that has birthed the todays most advanced revolution in the world, the People’s War in India.

“Since 2001, according to CMC’s compiled data, the armed cadres of PLGA killed 2958 and injured 3507 security personnel of central and state forces. Besides, they put to death as many as 222 politicians (people’s representatives) and 1105 people they accused as agents of security forces. ... They looted 3208 weapons of different categories and 152899 cartridges added to their armoury. … The PLGA guerrilla had carried out 208 major, 318 medium and 3948 small actions targeted against the forces during the last two decades, the report cited.”, so the old Indian state media. 4483 cadres, including 294 PLGA comrades, have been martyred in the past two decades.

Great challenges could be mastered by the PLGA in those 20 years, like the struggle against the controversial Salwa Judum movement (2004-2009), a paramilitary organization of the old Indian state, the operation Green Hunt (2009-2017), where the Indian lackeys got support from their imperialist masters, like US military advisors, and the central government’s scheme SAMADHAN (the acronym given to the current phase of “counter-Maoist” moves). All those campaigns of the government were known to implement methods of mass murder and genocide.

However hard the blows of reaction may be, the masses in the midst of the people's war will recapture every millimeter and more!

Long live the 20th anniversary of the PLGA!
